The Fair Part 2

I can't believe it but we went to the fair again on Friday night. We were there about 5 hours this time and looked at animals as well as rode rides. Jackson never made it to the rollercoaster which is all he could talk about on the way there but both boys did go on the "sizzler" - a ride they hadn't gone on the other day. It was Jared's favorite ride as a kid and so he took each boy on one at a time. We me Jared's parents and sister there too and Jaden rode it with Grandma too. Aunt Angela and Grandma rode a bunch of rides with the boys. We didn't get home till almost midnight but Jackson still felt the need to get up at 6:30 and then take a normal nap today. jaden, however, slept almost 4 hours for his nap today!

Roller Coaster

Here are the boys on the roller coaster. They are in the second car. It's kinda hard to see. When the coaster goes right in front of the camera (both times) the screaming you hear is Jaden :)

Snuggles

Cute picture I'm posting for the purpose of testing something :)

Fair

Jared came home from work after breakfast on Wednesday so we could go to the fair. The boys were SO excited. We were there from 10:45am until 10:45pm (we weren't expecting that) and had loads of fun the whole time. The first 6 hours consisted of eating yummy fair food and looking at all the animals. The boys got to pet a cow born the night before which they loved. Jaden was so excited to go pet the horses. The horse ended up biting Jaden in the face! It didn't leave a mark but it scared him pretty badly. A duck quacked at Kylie and she cried. When we went to the "big people" rides Kylie was freaking out again because of the noise I think. We took the boys on the "miracle round" (as they call it) in the area that wasn't for kids (before we realized). Jared said it was really fast and Jackson kept almost flying off so Jared had to hold on to him. We later realized we weren't actually in the kiddie rides. The second 6 hours of the day we got the kids armbands so they could ride unlimited rides and they went crazy for a solid 6 hours (with a break or two to eat something). We were able to meet up with Jared's sister and some of our friends for the ride part as well so that was fun. Jaden was too tall for a couple rides and Jackson was too short for a few rides. Lucky for him though Angela could hop on with him for free and he was still aloud to go. They went on every single ride in the kids section at least once except the sizzler which I'm not sure they were even old enough for. There was a VERY VERY VERY tall slide the boys went up. Jaden came down the slide once but as soon as Jackson got to the top he turned around and came back down the stairs. On the spinning dragon ride Jaden had a blast but, while he was a good sport during the ride, it almost ended all rides for Jackson. He hated it. At the end they rode a rollercoaster and at first it looked like Jackson was scared and that Jaden loved it. Towards the end we weren't sure about either. After they got off Jaden quietly said "mom, that was not fun!" but Jackson was yelling out that it was super fun! Quite a shock to us! It was cute to see how Jaden always wanted it to get crazier and crazier and would comfort Jackson so that he would gain more confidence to enjoy rides he may have otherwise skipped. Kylie did great all day and on the way home the boys were so tired they couldn't even speak clearly. Asleep before we even got out of Lynden! Super fun day and the boys can't wait to go back!
Enjoy the pictures!

Geep's Visit

Geep came to visit this past month and we had a great time. He was only here for a few days but Jared and the boys went to pick him up from the airport which was super fun for them. Here are some pictures...

Still going....

We've been at the fair 9.5 hours and the boys are still having a
ridiculously good time
