Lunch Conversations

The 3 kids have funny conversations during lunch. Here was today's....

Jackson: we have more mornings to be down in the earth. But we have
even more mornings to be up in heaven. Maybe I will play tag with
Jesus.

Jaden: I bet he will get you every time

Jackson: I will tell him to not run so fast

.........

Jackson: kylie when you get bigger you will go up to heaven and then
some more people will come live in our house and they will play with
your toys. They might even play with your caterpillar

Jaden: if you want to take an animal to heaven you can't. When god
lifts you up if you have an animal God will just push it out of your
hands

...........

Jackson: maybe we can fly a plane to heaven!

Jaden: no. You can't. God is the only way. The only way is by gods
hand. Maybe we can make a gods hand-mobile to get to heaven

Jaden: we can fly up and make a sign telling Jesus we are coming to heaven

Jackson : we can throw a leaf up with a message that we love Him

Jaden (rolling his eyes) you are a nutcracker

Jackson and Jaden's Fifth Birthday

I can NOT believe my boys are FIVE. Crazy. We were thankful to have a portion of Jared's family here to celebrate. Thursday evening we took them to see "Chipwrecked" (the new chipmunk movie) in the theater. It was definitely a "part 3" if you know what I mean.... BUT.... the boys LOVE the chipmunks! Friday we had a big breakfast and then Jared's parents treated us to a visit to a science museum which the kids had a BLAST at and then we ate lunch at Five Guys. It was so late it turned out to really be an early dinner so we came home and did cupcakes and gifts. Kylie made out like a bandit as well since grandma wanted to spoil her :). All weekend she kept saying "when is my birthday?" and after we sang to the boys she would say "are you going to sing happy birthday to me?"
Saturday we had a lunch party. My parents came down as well as my brother and his family (they have a girl Kylie's age). Another family came (one of my DEAREST friends who I met in high school) and they have a son one year older than the boys and a daughter one year older than Kylie. The kids all had a blast together and the weather was PERFECT. I couldn't help but miss all our friends that have helped celebrated the boys birthday in the past but we definately had a great time! Kylie again made out like a bandit especially because Gran brought her a bunch of clothes (and for the boys as well).
Enjoy the pictures!

Here is another set of pictures from birthday party day!

I will have to see if I can get the video on here. It didn't automatically load to youtube for some reason.

February

February was a crazy busy month for us! I find myself so busy lately trying to keep up with everything I always have and adding 20 hours of work to my schedule. This month we also had Jared's parents and his brother and his wife come visit, a weekend trip for Jared and I and the boy's birthday! Made it extra crazy but extra fun!
Jared's parents came on Thursday the 8th(?) and Friday morning Jared and I took a trip to Scottsdale, AZ - a trip Jared won at work. The kids got 3 uninterrupted days with their Grandparents while Jared and I got a little break. His company flew us to AZ, put us in a hotel, gave us spending money (to cover expenses and fun) and a prize (a Kindle Fire!). There were a couple gatherings to attend but you were mostly on your own and we had a nice time. I did not take any pictures. I don't think I took a single one for some reason.
We got back Sunday night and Jared's parents stayed for another week. His brother (Michael) and his wife (Elise) joined us the day after we got back. It was a little tricky to get out and do things since we only have one car but Michael and Elise rented one which helped out. We mostly hung out at the house but did get out a bit. Of course there were birthday festivities as well, but I'll save those for another post.
I wish I took more pictures when they were in town but just didn't make it happen. I do have some though and it's enough that I will put them in an album instead of listing them individually (MUCH faster for me). Included in these pictures is a trip to a science museum Jared's parents treated us to on the boy's birthday. The kids LLLLLOOOOVVVEEEDDDDD it!

Jared has informed me that the name
